The
Asheville-Buncombe Institute of Parity Achievement (ABIPA) was first created
in 2004 after years of discussion in the Buncombe County Black community.
The primary concern is the
need to address health disparities and their underlying causes, such as
educational and economic disparities.
Our Mission Statement:
ABIPA promotes economic, social, and
health parity achievement for African Americans and other people of color in
Buncombe County through advocacy, education, research, and community
partnerships |
